XIII. Young Historians Student Symposium, organized by the Aksaray University Department of History, will be held online via Zoom on November 16–17, 2026.
🔹 Application:
Those wishing to participate in the symposium must apply by filling out the form under the Abstract Text tab. Accepted students must submit their full papers to aksaraygenctarihciler@gmail.com no later than November 1, 2026.
🔹 Paper Topics:
Presentations covering any period or field of history are welcome; there are no topic restrictions.
🔹 Full Paper Submission:
Full papers must be prepared in accordance with the Word template below (Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 line spacing, justified alignment, maximum 10 pages).
Images/Figures must be submitted in a separate Word document.
A student certificate—or a graduation certificate for graduates—must be attached to the submission email.
📄 Publication & Participation:
Following the symposium, full papers approved by the peer review committee will be published in the upcoming issue of Genç Kalemler: Tarih, Düşünce ve Kültür Dergisi (Young Pens: Journal of History, Thought, and Culture).
📌 Note:
Only selected papers approved by the organizing committee will be published in the journal. The Advisory Board reserves the right to request or make necessary editorial changes during the publication process. All applicants are deemed to have accepted these terms.

The program will be published under the Program tab on our website on November 3, 2026.
